Eryn Busch is the special assistant to the News Literacy Project’s founder/CEO, Alan Miller.
She came to NLP in August 2017 from the Washington Center for Equitable Growth, a research and public policy center, where she spent two years as office manager. She gained experience in administration and operations in her five years as the special assistant to senior officials at the White House and at the Center for American Progress.
Eryn is a graduate of Los Angeles Community College (Pierce College) and the University of California, Los Angeles, where she majored in political science. Prior to attending UCLA, she served as a U.S. Army Civil Affairs sergeant in Iraq during the surge, where she focused on women’s and children’s rights, infrastructure projects and business development.
