Lori Aratani

The Washington Post

Lori covers the Metro system, transportation and development for The Washington Post. In 2007 she was selected as a visiting fellow by the Japan Press Foundation and spent two weeks in Japan researching and writing articles about immigrants and agricultural issues. Before joining the Post in 2005, she was a reporter at the San Jose Mercury News, where she was on a team of reporters covering the 2004 presidential elections for Knight-Ridder newspapers.
