Chris Richards

The Washington Post

Chris is the pop music critic at The Washington Post, a position he has held since 2009. Previously he was executive editor of The Fader, a magazine covering emerging pop music. From 2006 to 2008 he covered music for the Post’s Style section and began "The Singles File," the first daily newspaper column dedicated to reviewing MP3s. He began at the paper as a editorial aide in 2001 and contributed profiles, reviews and features to the Style section.
