Barry Gordemer

NPR

Barry is a senior producer for NPR’s “Morning Edition” in Washington. He has helped produce, direct and edit NPR coverage of two Persian Gulf wars, seven presidential elections, the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks and Hurricane Katrina.  He has also produced numerous profiles of actors, musicians and writers.  He began his radio career 30 years ago at NPR member station WFAE in Charlotte, N.C., and has also worked for Minnesota Public Radio and American Public Media’s “A Prairie Home Companion.”
