Jaweed Kaleem is senior religion reporter at The Huffington Post, where he examines how religious views and practices intersect with and influence the cultural, demographic and political shifts taking place in the American and global religious landscapes. In 2014, he reported on Islam in Indonesia as a senior fellow at the East-West Center and in 2013, as an International Center for Journalists Henry Luce Fellow in Global Religion, he wrote extensively from Pakistan on the growing persecution of religious minorities. He began his journalism career in 2007 as a reporter for The Miami Herald, where he was a member of the breaking news team whose coverage of the 2010 Haiti earthquake was a Pulitzer Prize finalist.
