Based in London, Lisa covers technology in Europe for The Wall Street Journal. Previously, she wrote about education in the New York area for the Journal's Greater New York section, reporting on testing and teacher evaluations in New York City schools, Facebook founder Marc Zuckerberg's donation to Newark Public Schools and major changes coming to GED testing programs nationwide. She was part of the Journal's teams covering Hurricane Sandy, the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., and the bombings at the Boston Marathon and has also reported on New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie. Lisa came to the Journal in 2010 from The Star-Ledger in Newark, N.J., where she was a statehouse reporter. She began her journalism career during college as an editorial assistant at the Associated Press and was an intern at the New York Daily News, the Chicago Tribune and The Boston Globe before joining The Sun News in Myrtle Beach, S.C., in 2006.
