Lolly is a reporter for the Chicago Tribune, covering minority affairs and the Chicago south suburbs. She joined the Tribune in 2004 from the New Orleans Times-Picayune. She began her career in journalism while still in high school, working as a reporter for the Knoxville (Tenn.) News Sentinel, and later interned at The Boston Globe, USA Today and The Wall Street Journal. In addition, Lolly has written for The Washington Post and has produced work for National Public Radio, and was the Post’s first Howard Simons Journalism Fellow at the University of Maryland.
