Dodie is a member of the Chicago Tribune’s editorial board and serves as the board’s Voice of the People editor. She is responsible for editing the letters-to-the-editor section and occasionally writes for the Tribune and edits the paper’s Commentary and Perspective sections. She has worked at the Tribune for 31 years in a variety of assignments, including as a copy editor, news editor, photo editor, graphics editor and assistant section editor. Dodie taught copy editing at Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism for 10 years and currently teaches in the journalism department at Columbia College Chicago and Loyola University Chicago.
