Rob King is ESPN’s senior vice president for SportsCenter, news and information. He has been in charge of ESPN’s flagship program, the network’s news content (including E:60 and Outside the Lines) and all global and digital content since 2014. He began his journalism career at the Commercial-News in Danville, Ill., and also worked at the Courier-Post in Cherry Hill, N.J., and The Courier-Journal in Louisville, Ky. He joined ESPN in 2004 after seven years at The Philadelphia Inquirer, where he was a graphic artist, deputy sports editor, assistant managing editor and deputy managing editor. He is a member of the Associated Press board and the Poynter Institute board.
