Geraldine Baum

Geraldine Baum is senior vice president for communications and marketing at the Local Initiatives Support Corporation, a nonprofit that focuses on community transformation. She joined LISC in February 2012 after 23 years at the Los Angeles Times, where she served as bureau chief in New York and Paris and also reported from Washington. She covered major national and international events. Geraldine began her journalism career at The Miami Herald and spent seven years at Newsday, where she was part of a team that won a Pulitzer in 1984.
